Author's Note: I had the true pleasure of working on the set of the new vertical drama series: "My Magic, My Monsters, My Man," created by Chill Baby Productions and Visit Mount Dora, and coming to your cell phone near you soon. I shared my thoughts at the wrap party. Some of it is inside jokes, with some universal truths thrown in.

It has been my true honor to learn from each of you during the 10-day filming of My Magic, My Monsters, My Man.
To start, here are some of the harsh realities I learned on my first stint as production coordinator/caterer/Basecamp manager:
It is incredibly stressful, but it can be really good stress.
Good driving skills are vital. Jose's car sounds like Mario Kart when you don't buckle up.
There are three camps of eaters on a film set:
those who don't eat,
those who overeat,
and those who have their s*** together and eat appropriately.
Try and stay the hell out of the shot and shut the hell up, Patti. Perhaps Pall needs to record me talking as room tone so you can delete it.
Plan for wine slushy storage.
Everybody forgets things.
Don't get high on your own supply, Patti. "I" think what I'm doing is amazing and wonderful and important; Billy Bob Boater doesn't give a rat's ass. And my family has their concerns as well!!!
So here are some of the really wonderful things I've learned:
Time flies by. Spectacularly.
The talent here —wow, not just the "talent"—the talent of every stripe, has been amazing.
The excitement of being at the forefront of a new entertainment genre (vertical series) was palpable everywhere.
You know you're on a great set when people who aren't even scheduled on the call sheet show up... And make lunch. And teach you how to put your hair up with a chopstick.
What an amazingly supportive group! It has truly been mine and Queen B's pleasure to house you, feed you, connect with you, and connect you to each other. This is Community.
